E! News has confirmed that the Grammy Award winner has signed up for her first small-screen role, appearing in the third season of Showtime's The Tudors as Henry VIII's fourth fleeting wife, Anne of Cleves.

Yes, that'd be the fugly one.

Per the cable net, the upcoming season of the show, starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers, follows Henry's marriages to third queen Jane Seymour, played by Anita Briem, and then Stone's Anne.

Anne entered into a marriage treaty with the capricious king after Henry was shown a portrait of her. When she arrived in England, the royal was said to be disappointed by her actual appearance and annulled the marriage after just six months, indicating that Stone's screen time perhaps will be equally as fleeting.
